After a short break, here's your Dragon Daily News for today.
Gavin and Lariat are your hosts.

I'd like to extend my gratitude to each of you who had a part in our book fair! Thanks to those who sent money to allow their child to shop. Thanks to those who joined us for lunch and shopped with their child. Thanks to those who donated money to "share the fair" for students who weren't able to shop this time. And a special thanks to the volunteers who served as shopping assistants, cashiers and cleanup crew for our Book Fair!
I don't have the final total just yet, but we have raised a lot of money to purchase new books for our library!
Thank you!
- Mrs. Moore

Class Dojo is experiencing some issues due to issues with a third-party provider. You may or may not be able to reach your child's teacher in Class Dojo. Please call the school office or email your child's teacher if you need to contact us and you're experiencing difficulty with Class Dojo. Thank you!

We are utterly, completely, and eternally THANKFUL to the community in and around Dragon Country for their unbelievable generosity!
Because of your overwhelming support, EVERY SINGLE CLASSROOM at Nancy Reynolds has been sponsored! That's right—every classroom!
The commitment you show to our students, goes above and beyond anything we could ever imagine. Your willingness to step up and provide for our school is a true testament to the heart and spirit of this community.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for always supporting our Dragons! Your kindness is making a monumental difference in the lives of our teachers and students, and we can't wait to see the impact of your gift.

THE BOOK FAIR IS COMING!!!
Have you set up an ewallet for your child? The Scholastic eWallet is a digital payment option for Book Fairs that allows you to add funds for a student to spend cash-free. You can set it up on our Book Fair homepage, add funds with a credit card or existing gift card, or share a unique link with friends and family to contribute. At the fair, the account is looked up by the student's name and grade, and after the fair, any remaining balance converts to a gift card for online Scholastic purchases or future eWallets.
Here's our book fair homepage: https://bookfairs.scholastic.com/bf/nancyreynoldselemsch
Preview for the fair is Friday, Oct. 17 and Monday, Oct. 20. Students may shop Oct. 21-23. Our lunch with a loved one is on Thursday, Oct. 23 for those who sent in an RSVP.
We look forward to seeing everyone at our scholastic book fair!

Parents and community members are invited to join us by hosting a "trunk" for our Trunk or Treat event on Friday, October 31 at 8:30am.
Because we aren't sure what the weather will do, we've decided to have this as an indoor event where hosts will decorate a table space rather than the trunk of their car. Students will visit each table to collect candy like they would for a traditional trunk or treat. Hosts are asked to provide candy for their table. We have close to 200 students this year, so we ask that you prepare for that many.
Setup can begin as early as 7:30am, but please have your booth ready for us to begin at 8:30am. Please sign up on the event in Class Dojo, or call Ms. Kelly in our office and she'll add you to the list.
Students will visit with their class and will be called when it is their child's turn.
Thank you!
